LOOK: BUREAU OF INTERNAL REVENUE (BIR) EXTENDS DEADLINE OF FILING ANNUAL INCOME TAX RETURNS DUE TO ENHANCED COMMUNITY QUARANTINE | COVID-19

Under Revenue Memorandum Circular No. 28-2020 dated March 18, 2020, the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) announced that the deadline of filing for the Annual Income Tax Return (AITR) for the year 2019 has been extended from April 15, 2020 to May 15, 2020.

No penalties shall be charged for filings and payments made beyond April 15, 2020.
